sb_pwr/Power LED

I have an Asus A8N-SLI mother board. When I turn on the power supply the sb_pwr light comes on. After about thirty seconds the light starts blinking from a dim light to a brighter light. Does anyone know what the blinking light means? I can't find it in any Asus documentation.

Also, my system will not power on. I think my power supply failed (no 12V or 3.3V output). I've replaced it with an Antec 480W. My system still will not power up, the only indication of life is the sb_pwr light. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jim

Yep, I've check the manual and other Asus manuals. I've been Asus' forums and there was one other question on the sb_pwr meaning but no reply. I've also searched other message boards, but no clear answer.
