SB850 and SSD users

If anyone is using the new SB850 southbridge along with an SSD could you please post your setup and any tips? I have a GA890FX-UD5 and a Vertex 2 and haven't really seen the performance I expected. So anyone that has an AMD setup with an SSD chime in!
