SB Recon3D Fatal1ty Champion sound card not working

I have a Sound Blaster Recon3D Fatal1ty Champion sound card and was pretty happy with it until three weeks ago. I have a Logitech 5.1 speaker system, but I always used headphones to listen to audio. Then for no reason my headphones stopped working. I don't want to clutter my message with too many details, but I've done everything possible to troubleshoot and correct this shortcoming, including updating my drivers. I'd like to know if anybody else has had reliability problems with Sound Blaster's Recon3D. Thank you.
