SB Platinum Live Drive woes

I'm trying to get my SPDIF out on my Live Drive to work, but can't find the option to turn it on. I just upgraded to the winME liveware 3.0. I used to have it working in win98, but can't remember how I got it working. Anyone have any ideas?
