SB Platinum install = no CDROM!?!?

I recently installed a new SoundBlaster Platinum and for some reason that has completely eluded me doing a complete install causes Windoze to not recognize my Plextor CDRW at all. Nothin, nada. BIOS sees it, but that's it. This happens after the restart after instaling the drivers for the card. If anybody has any ideas or solutions to this that I can try before I break down and call long distance for tech support, please let me know! 🙂
