Hey all. My soundcard (Soundblaster PCI512--basically an EAX-lite card) is only putting out one stereo channel musically. It's most noticeable in divided stereo recordings (like the earlier Beatles' stuff), but also becomes obvious with music that does left-to-right fading, etc. (like Led Zep's "Whole Lotta Love"). I have looked around in my multimedia properties for a setting to change. I have removed and reinstalled the card in different slot. I have downloaded and installed the most recent drivers. I have updated to DX8.1. I've listened through headphones to make sure that the problem isn't my speakers... Thoughts or suggestions?
My setup:
Athlon 1400 on ECS K7S5A (latest--11/09/01--bios)
256mb PC2100 (single stick--only way to go on this board... hehe)
Win98 ver1
MSI Starforce GF2 GTS
3Com PCI (internal) DSL modem
Diamond HomeFree PCI phoneline net card
SB PCI512 (PCI slot 3)
Thanks!
