Sb live vs. sb live value

are there any real hardware differences between the sblive and sblive value? i.e. could you install either of creative's drivers for either card, or would this cause any problem?

Yes, they're 2 different cards, 2 different model numbers, live value has something missing as live.
Even you add the Creative digital I/O daughter card, live value will get fewer features as live since it has fewer pins connection for that.
On the other hand, both use same driver, same liveware.

will it matter if i install the regular sb live driver from soundblaster.com, since both are listed? the reason im asking is because i need to update my drivers, and i dont remember if i bought the value or regular
