Hey,

Recently set up a new system here and everything is working perfectly except the SB Live! What is happening now is the volume output is about half of what it should be (with the Cambridge speakers volume control on Max it sounds about half as loud as it did on my old system). The funny thing is this wasn't happening until after I installed Realplayer Basic 8.0 (Huge mistake, I hate Real but sometimes I listen to live streams). I was listening to MP3s in Winamp at the time and noticed the volume drop as it installed. I have checked the Volume control in windows and everything is set to max.

Anyone have any idea if there is some hidden control in Windows to push the output up?

Thanks :)

Had the same thing happen. But double clicking on the sound tray icon and changing all the sliders to max fixed the problem for me.

Weird, was just fiddling with a few things and rebooted a few times and now it's working at the proper volume again lol. I pushed everything to the max as well though.

Thanks :)
