SB Live Value to Reciever Click/Popping Prob. Please Help!

I went to radio shack today and picked up a RCA stereo Y adapter. The one end is connected to the speaker line (green i think), then the 2 rca connectors (red/white) go into my Kenwood Vr-507 reciever. I set the digital output off in sound/advanced settings. When i put in a burned movie that i made myself, I get popping and clicks sometimes coming from my speakers. At first I though it was the CDR/Movie but then i tried some .avi's and the same thing happened. It doesnt happen constantly but it happens a few times every 5min's. Can someone help me out with some input? If you need to know more, please ask and maybe we can narrow down the problem.

Try adjusting the sampling quality and hardware acceleration in your windows setting. I sometimes experience the same thing with my SBLive! Value.

The Live cards are notorious for popping and poor sound quality all together. What motherboard are you using?

I doubt you can fix it, as its most likely a problem with the card. Good speakers just make it more noticeable.

I had a lot of trouble with clicks/pops on my kt133a board (asus a7v133) and the sblive value.

moving to an audigy fixed most of the problems, and moving to a santa cruz solved all my problems.
