SB Live Value (original) + 8kha+ mobo

Just wondering if anybody has run the 2 together and if they had any trouble doing so?
I'm currently using a Rhythmic Edge, but I have the Live in my other box and I'm wondering if the Live would be a bit more compatible with UT2k3 or other games....

My friend is using SB Live & Epox 8KHA+ combo with no problems,I`m using same board with an Audigy and it`s excellent .

Btw PCI slot 2 is a good slot for the sound card(counting from AGP side) on the Epox 8KHA+.

VIA chipsets need a software workaround in place so they don't run into a sneaky hardware bug of the original SB!Live series. Install the VIA 4-in-1 drivers, and you'll be fine.

Thanks for the info guys.
I've had the latest 4in1's since I installed win2k a couple weeks ago, so that's solved.

I have my Rhythmic edge in PCI #4 (2nd from bottom), which shares an IRQ with my NIC in slot #6, but they're working fine together.
I'd prefer to leave some space under the AGP card anyhow (preparing for a big passive sink.

Another user that runned it under 2k and xp during 8 months both without a single glitch. Definitely a problemless system.
