SB Live! Value II SPDIF port

I currently have an SB Live! Value II (CT4830) card. This is the one with the 5 mini-jacks, the 5th being the Yellow Digital SP/DIF port.

I understand that I can use a mini-plug to single RCA cable with this jack to get COAX digital output, I haven't tried it yet.... But I'm interested in having both Optical and Coax outputs.

I was looking at the Creative Digital Optical I/O board product here. Was thinking, 1) would that Digital I/O breakout module work plugged into the existing digital port on the CT4830? 2) Can you purchase the Digital I/O breakout module seperatly from the Optical I/O Card? The rest of the connectors on that card (Midi, DigitalDIN) aren't of any interest to me. Seems like a waste to buy the whole I/O card just to get that little breakout box. (if it will work with my card).

I guess the other option to get Digital Optical output is to buy one of the Hoontech addon pieces. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The DB plugs in to two rows of pins on the actual SBLIVE card using a cable similar to an IDE cable (might even be an IDE cable, I dont know). If what you're looking for is just optical the hoontech DB I has only one optical out and one coax out.
