SB Live! problems...HELP!

I just finished building my computer and for the sound card I have a Sound Blaster Live! Platinum. After installing the drivers for everything else, I popped in the drivers CD for the sound card and started installing. About half way through, my computer restarted and now everytime I try to run something that uses sound, it freezes. If I remove the card my computer runs fine, but with no sound. I have tried to reinstall the drivers and everything! Does anyone know what is happening? Some one please help! It's driving me mad!!!

if you are running Win Me get the drivers for ME, i just did the same thing, any idea how to get to the CMOS settings?

I'm running Win98 SE. To get to CMOS, right when you start up press DEL or another key. CMOS is in the BIOS.
