SB Live Platinum remote functionality..?

Is there anyway to boost its functionality? Is there a program/utility that I can download to map a "scheme" to allow the buttons to correspond to keystrokes? I have an ATI DVD player (came with Radeon), and I would REALLY like to take advantage of the remote with that player (soft players suck). Thanks for any help.
 
Hummm......I remember finding a site that had a lot a good info on that little remote, but its gonna take me a few days go try and find it again. 🙁

I've pretty much lost intrest in the thing, it kept crashing when w2k booted, and i've really had no intrest to try and get the thing running nice and happy, so i just said the heck with it and haven't installed the software for a long time.
