SB Live Platinum 5.1 Live Drive IR

The Live Drive that comes with the Platinum 5.1 is called the Live Drive IR, does that work on any other SB Live, or just the Platinum??
 
No, not all... all have pins, but certain card models are missing some of the necessary pins. So while some of the functions of the Live!Drive IR will work, others will not because of the missing pins.
 
From what I heard, only Live Value won't work with Live Drive. Even thou Creative Labs web site shows it works.
