SB LIVE! MP3+vs. Value OEM?

I'm building a new system. Looking at sound cards. Can't decide b/t the SB Live! value OEM or the MP3+. Any audiophiles out there who have installed the MP3+? Pluses, minuses? Features you love/hate? Is it worth the extra 50% in cost? (Anand hasn't reviewed SB Live! sound cards since 1998, from what I can tell.) Thanks!!

As I remember it, the only difference is in the software included. The Value just has it's drivers and showoff EAX stuff. The MP3+ has a CD full of MP3-related software. Oh, wait - the MP3+ *might* have an internal SPDIF connector on the card, which is good for pure digital playback from your CD-ROM drive.

The only Live! with any real difference is the Live! Platinum, which has additional plugs on the back.

Stick with the Value unless you can spring for the Platinum, I say.
