SB Live + Cambridge Soundworks 4 Point Surround System ARRGH@!

OK, I got an SB Live Value, the newer one with the digital out.

I have the creative FPS 2000 speaker system, with 4 speakers and a sub. I have it hooked up via the digital jack, it works great and sounds fine, except, I can't get JACK to come out of the rear 2 speakers. I have Windows 2000, and I double checked the multimedia tab, and it is set to quadrophonic, or 4 speaker setting. Is there a way for me to test this thing, or see if I can get my rears to work? I have the latest 3300 sb live W2K driver BTW.

Help me anandtech members, you're my only hope!

I had a similar problem, except I've got 98SE, a SBLive! 5.1, and CSW DTT3500's. And my problem was a little different -- I couldn't get any normal sound out of the digital DIN (I still can't, so if anybody knows how PLEASE let me know.) The only way I could fix it (and all speakers then worked perfectly) was to hook up the analog cables. Worked for me, although I still wish I could get the digital DIN to work the way I think it's supposed to...
