SB Live! and Windows XP issues

I installed Windows XP RC1 yesterday (finally got the disc from MS), and it seems excellent so far. The only problem I'm having with it is getting my SB Live 5.1 to work properly with it. The SB Live WDM drivers included with WinXP provide rather sub-par sound quality when multiple sounds are occuring at once. Also, I can't use any of the SB Live software (Creative Launcher, Playcenter, Creative Mixer) - I can install, but I can't run the programs, they don't appear when I execute them and they don't show up in the task manager.

This is the only gripe I have right now with WinXP, I would be very grateful if anyone is familiar with this issue and knows a solution. I would like to be able to have my SB Live work the same in XP as it does in 9x/2000.
