I believe these Xeons will have the C2 stepping as opposed to the C1 stepping of the 3960X CPU.

This is a special SKU in the Xeon E5 for workstations, so it'll be pretty rare. Regular server chips will clock up to 2.9GHz, while more common ones will be at 2.7GHz.

uhhh sorry but most of us smelled that BS coming 10 miles away.. it was really foul, and how amd tried to spray massive amounts of air freshener to hide it, is what fouled the air even more and pissed a lot of us off.

ME especially... u guys should know exactly when i exploded on AMD.. it was arround the time when they said ALL MY FRIENDS who leaked BD scores were FAKE, and later proven CORRECT.

30% performance increase in CineBench 11.5 is impressive IMO, consider only 2 additional cores.

Going from 6 cores to 8 is a 33% increase, so it is right in line with how it should scale.
