Hi,
I currently have a SB Audigy sound card (the original) and am building a new system. I see that the MSI Neo4 has built-in sound that is supposed to be pretty good. I only run a 5.1 speaker setup, but I was wondering if I would be better off just using the onboard sound or if the audigy is still a better solution.
Sorry for the n00b question. I don't keep up with this stuff anymore.
Mike

Even though I already have the audigy card? I suppose I could put it into my brother's computer...
Thanks for the reply.

If you already have the Audigy, you might as well use it. The onboard chip isn't bad, but you'd still have lower CPU utiliztion with the full card, I believe. But Soundblasters aren't the least CPU intensive either...
