I'm not sure if this is considered "Highly Technical", if not then moderators, pls move this to a more relevant forum.
1) Does the internal hardware mixer of the SB Audigy (I have the Platinum eX) do any real boosting? If yes, how can I accurately determine the 0dB level for each of the mixer's channels? (If it doesn't boost, the I suppose setting the sliders to max is 0dB?)
2) If I am not mistaken, the Audigy, like the Live, does all its internal processing at 48KHz. Theoretically, in the mathematical sense, would the output signal differ much from its input signal if both input and output were sampled at 44.1kHz?
