SB Audigy driver problems.

well i LOST the CD for the installation... so i have no software.. however i do have the 13MB Compaq drivers.... how can i use playcenter though.. i have no access to my channels.. any seperate files? i dont want to buy another audigy just to get a CD.. and i dont have any friends that has this soundcard either.

You can download the whole cd from compaq. Too lazy to look up the link. you can do it.

you can get it from here but it's 377MB.
I think you need to delete the CToem.cfg file from one of the folders after extracting the package before running setup.

Can't you just download these files from Creative's site also? Or does the Compaq CD have extra software on it?

You can't get the software from creative anymore. You need to buy their stupid CD to get it. Driver only downloads.

for some reason, when i try to extract it, i downloaded it like 4 times already, it always says its a corrupt file.
