SB Audigy / ASUS A7V133 / WINXP?

Hello.

My soundcard has always worked fine, until I formated/reinstalled windows xp.

Now when I boot up, and intstall either the cd drivers or creative labs drivers, The sound card isnt working.
I dont have any ! or X next to it in the device manager.
MY SB Audigy is in PCI Slot 5 (has been since I got it, always worked there). I have no idea why it isnt working right.
In order for me to get it work, I have to reboot, and constantly update drivers once ni windows, and then it seems to work.
Otherwise, I getr directsound error with winamp, and media player gives me no sound.
I am using 1008 BIOS.
In the bios, the onboard AC97 audio controller is disabled; PCI/PNP IRQ -- IRQ 5 reserved for legacy device is YES; Slot 4/5 IRQ is set to AUTO.

If I uninstall sb software, and remove the audigy from device managar, and reboot..and let windows install drivers, it will work (until I have to reboot, then after my frist reboot, I am back to the errors / no sound )
WINAMP says "A device ID has been used that is out of range for your system"

ANy idea's suggestions or tips?

Here is how my cards are in my computer (It has worked before, flawlessly with XP, before the format/reinstall)

PCI 1 - Open
PCI 2 - Open
PCI 3 - Adaptec Scsi
PCI 4 - NIC
PCI 5 - SB Audigy
