ok i have read a lot of people who experienced hum from their subwoofers and were able to fix it in some ways. i tried playing around with the pod connector on the sub..didn't seem to help.
i think my case is a little different than some other people's.
it hums when i play games with eax...usually about 10-15 mins in.
i am not sure if it hums if i don't use eax...but still, it is a problem since i mainly bought it for games and movies. i only have analog connection so far. and i am on 6 channel direct.
the hum stops when i quit/pause the games. i didn't seem to notice a hum when i played saving private ryan. any ideas?

ok
funny thing is i hung my speaker wires up on the walls...some of these cables are touching each other...i also moved the power where all my pc and speaker connects to to another corner...the sub was constantly humming even when i wasn't playing game.
but i moved some wires to their orginal position...now it only hums in game...what is going on?

You might have to downgrade the sound quality, because when it's too high, you'll get unwanted noise

adjust system volume sound settings and speaker volume sound settings if that helps

otherwise you'll have to consult your user manual for hidden features you don't ever get a chance to see unless you open up certain parts of the Audigy card's programs
-like bass enhancements
-KHz, decoding methods (dolby, digital, spdf, etc)

you can also try using a different set of speakers to see if it's a computer problem, or whether it's your current speakers
