sb audigy 2 nx

If it's a budget model that doesn't have the Crystal CS4382 DAC that normally comes with the regular A2 or A2 ZS, then I'd personally pass on it. Then again, that's just me.

Umm, the NX is Creative's next-generation external USB sound system. It's the sucessor to the Exitgy, a device to which I've heard few if any complaints, so I would think that the NX would also be a very good product. Mind you thouh rakeshmp that it's designed for laptops; you're going to want a normal sound card if you have a tower.

well, i was looking for something with a headphone input. i also need a sound card because abits onboad sound is messed up. the nx was cheaper than the sb platinum. if i buy the platinum a2, then i still need to buy that black face plate, which is another $20, bringing it up to almost the plat zs price. so the best bet is the zs plat then?

i want something with front inputs
my speakers dont have them, so i need it on a soundcard. its the faceplate of the platinum that makes it appealing for me.
