If my mom made the decision to get an abortion when she got pregnant with my older brother I obviously would not be here nor my two daughters nor my little brother and his two kids. A child doesn't "ruin" your life...it only changes it. If you think you are mature enough to engage in a sexual relationship and choose not to have safe sex then you should be mature enough to deal with possibly having a child. Saying "get an abortion" is very easy when you are the guy and have to face no long term side effects or the emotional distress that comes from having destroyed a life.

that's kind of twisted logic... I mean, if you reverse it, could every kid that's turned out to be a serial killer, murderer, or rapist be used as an argument in favor of abortion?

and even when practicing safe sex, **** can still happen (ie: condom breaks)

but back to the OP... I'm gay, so it's not really an issue, but in an imaginary world where I wasn't, I'd totally want her to have the kid. I really look foward to adopting someday if it ever becomes less of a political issue (lol, as if)
