I have been reading Brian Greene's, The Elegant Universe... because I find cosmology and physics fascinating.

Anyways... I have been following along quite well, but some paragraphs you must read 2-3 times.

"This leads us to the key fact: For any large circular radius of the Garden-hose universe, there is a corresponding small circular radius of which the winding energies of strings in the former universe equal the vibration energies of strings in the latter, and the vibration energies of strings in the former equal the winding energies of strings in the latter."

WTF Mate!

I finally understand it after reading it about 10 times, out loud.

LOL... ok, I am done.

Well, so it's basically just harmonics?

What I don't get is quantum entanglement.

I downloaded the documentary from PBS for free, but it was horrible quality. I then bought the book and got about a third through it, when I found the documentary on DVD and bought it and watched it again. Watching the DVD first, then reading the book, makes it sink in much easier.
