I really don't understand why people dislike Nickelback so much. They have a number of decent songs and that video was a pretty neat idea. I'll be the first to admit I don't keep up with all the music news but would someone care to explain why they're so disliked?

Come on now. Nickelback at least plays to two different groups. They have their sappy/acoustic stuff like Photograph, Leader of Men, Rockstar, ect and then they turn it up with poppy/hardish rock like Side Of a Bullet, Animals, Burn it to the Ground, ect.

I'm not defending Nickelback or hating on AC/DC but to claim one is more "diverse" than the other is simply falling blind to bias.

The video was pretty cool. The song was worth at least a listen. I'd wager there is considerably worse music out there than Nickleback. Generally I'm not a fan of country rock like them and 3 Doors Down, but I can see why they are popular.
