But I for one look forward to his next movie. I didn't see PotC, but anyone willing to break away from dumping out fifty billion crappy sequels/prequels and remakes of old hit TV series has my vote.

Add to that the lack of "star suck factor" and REAL mayan dialog and, well, I'm intrigued.

I think its funny people rag on him so much. Either way, its a reprieve from yet another sucky hollywood blockbuster. That can't be all bad.

I like the man as an actor and well gifted director. I will see his next creation for sure.

I dunno, judging by the take from his last flick it seems a fair amount still do.

I dunno, like I said, never seen the movie, but the "anti semite" stuff seems like so much knee jerk bullcrap.

Still doesn't change the fact that if your going to insult or poke fun at someone you should at least do YOURSELF the common courtesy of putting more effort into it than that. Mockery is fine but it just makes you sound daft when the best you can do is that. :(

It IS knee-jerking bull. There was nothing antisemetic about PotC. It's like blacks petitioning for reparations for slaves. Uh... ain't no slaves still alive, fool. Likewise, it's a story about the Bible. If ANYTHING is anti-semetic, it's the original text that the movie was based on :p ;)

I think I know why you average less than a post a day... but I digress.

First off, seriously, get over yourself.
Secondly, the movie seems interesting except for the part about little dialog and a lot of action. Something just doesn't sound good about that.
Thirdly, I don't have a problem with Mel other than he definitely does look like Saddam Hussein. :)
Finally, and most importantly, Braveheart is the best movie of all time (no matter how historically inaccurate it was).

lol get over myself, thanks for the input dude, your not allowed to say someones post is stupid without being all high on yourself.

And yes, braveheart WAS a great movie.

As for your allusion about my post rate, I don't really spend THAT much time posting on the internet, now you don't have to speculate.
