If I start to get regular pop-ups on these forums I'm leaving and I won't be back. Just got a rash of Seagate ones with URL:

http://ad.doubleclick.net/ad/N769.anandtech/B46468.2;sz=400x300;ord=2001.10.20.22.15.42

B*st*rds!

And before you suggest it, I'd rather not have to run a pop-up killer.

We are aware of the problem and are working on it aleady. This thread is going to get locked since it's not appropriate for the forum.

I agree!! Everytime the search results window pops up I get a pop-up window.

I have to say that if I have to deal with PU windows than I will have to find another hot deals forum.

Hmmm...I don't ever remember having this problem
I do use a pop up killer some of the time I browse though

But I KNOW I've never got one at work, where I've never had a pop up killer in use

This is BS. I just closed my main browser window and there were at least 7 freakin pop up windows sitting there.

I like this forum but if I have to live with this pop up BS, it will be Aloha Baby.

You think that the folks running this forum could get money in some way without messing over the members with pop up/under, whatever, windows.

Yeah i've never seen these pop ups till tonight. I wouldn't mind maybe one a day or one every so many clicks or something like that, I know they have servers and bandwidth to pay for. But not every single time I move to look at another post or even move back thats just ludicrus.

You know what...I'm out of here. I'll be back tommorrow....maybe the muckie muckie that runs this place will come to his senses. If not....too bad, I like the stuff in the AnandTech forums, but not enough to have 10 freakin pop ups to kill when I close my main window.

Come to your senses!!!!!
