some people wondering whether Apple is secretly planning to make OSX common currency for PCs as well, and challenge Microsoft's operating system Windows..................Two or three years down the line, Apple will start selling Mac OSX for Intel boxes

It may depend upon how prevalent cracked copies of OSX become. If lots of people are using them, Apple may decide it's better to sell them copies (or some of them). There's also a big market for MacOSX on x86 hardware amongst people who wouldn't necessarily pay a premium for Apple-branded hardware.

Whether or not Apple recognizes this is another thing. They have a history of acting dumb. I think it's because they see themselves as something other than a business, but Microsoft always remembers that it's supposed to be making money, not revolutions.

There is so much hoopla attached to the cracked versions of OSX, and hackers are claiming great victories about defeating DRM. However, I think that the security on the MacIntel boxes will be a lot tighter and harder to crack than what Apple put on the developer kits (the basis for the current OSX86 cracks.)

I really doubt that Apple will release OSX for regular Intel boxes anytime soon. I really don't think that it supports their business model of making software to run very well on a very limited platform. But, we'll see. It would be nice to have another OS choice that is easy to use.

Chances are that those people also won't pay for OS X unless it was bundled with the hardware. If they're pirating OS X they most likely were pirating Windows as well and won't be paying for either until they're forced to by some DRM invention or they grow up and decide supporting companies that produce software that they like is worthwhile.
