Update: we have named her Molly.

I picked her up at the shelter on Saturday. She weighs 56 pounds and we are guessing she is a Bull Terrier / Lab mix. She is about 2.

Dog

She had been at the shelter for about a month and they had named her Heidi. We don't really like the name and she doesn't respond to it so we want to change her name. Any suggestions?

So far, the only one we have come up with is squeky as she is obsessed with a squeaky toy and has a very squeaky bark...

Nice dog! A pat on the back as well for taking her away from the shelter as well :) As for names, I'm not too good with female pet names... if I think of something I'll post it :p

best of luck with the new addition to the fam!

Both of our dogs were adopted from a shelter. It's much more gratifying saving a dog from a life in a cage (or worse) than buying a pure breed for 10X the cash...
