Say Hello To My Little Friend(Dell Latitude E6320)

My Dell Latitude E6320 just arrived today and let me tell you that this little beast is worth every penny. Very nice, light, and extremely fast laptop(13.3 inches). I was able to play SC2 with medium setting without any issues, getting between 32fps-38fps. I am totally impressed with the Intel HD 3000 GPU. Going to throw some more stuff into this beast mouth within the week.

My Latitude E6320 spec:

Core i7 2620M
13.3” HD (1366x768) Anti-Glare LED
Intel HD 3000
8GB DRR3
320GB 7200 rpm HD(upgrade to SSD next week)
8X DVDRW
Backlit Keyboard
6-cell Battery
Intel Centrino® Ultimate-N 6300
HD video webcam

Sounds like a nice unit. What was the cost and weight? What's battery life like?

Thanks. I get about 6 1/2 hrs on light usage and 3 hrs when gaming on a 6-cell battery and weight a bit under 4lbs. Paid $960 after using the 38% off dell small business coupon 2 weeks ago.

I'm considering it's bigger brother, the E6420.

Sadly, Dell is the only shop here were you can actually (partly) configure your model and don't have to choose from predefined ones. So I can get the cheapest cpu, RAM and hdd combo but with a 1600x900 resolution screen. Not possible with HP or lenovo or...here.
I can then easily replace the hdd for an ssd of my choice and add RAM myself to. Both for about 1/3 of dells price...8 gb ram is about 90$ here, dell wants about 270$ for that upgrade.

The only annoying thing is that the quad core does not seem to be available without dedicated gpu.makes no sense to me? thought mobile SB quads have hd graphics too?

Sounds like you and I have similar tastes.

I just may pick one of these up. I need something to replace my aging M1330.
