The apparent heir to Rickrolling. I'll spare you the details, just read the article.
But a few questions come to mind.

Why the hell is CNN reporting on stupid web trends/internet memes?
And who are these deprived people that are trying to start this?
Didn't rickrolling die because it got annoying as well as old? So why bother?
Won't the fact that this got reported on a major news source probably kill this trend before it gains any traction anyway?

CNN always has insignificant articles, which is why they attract the cess pool of people that post in their comment section.

How is it funny to do the same meme over again just with a different video? Rick Rolling was (initially) funny because it took advantage of the fact that you couldn't discern the contents of a youtube video just by looking at the url. This is just the same thing again.
