WTF?! First off all its not even the same Director (James Woo did the 1st). And 2nd I dont see how they could make a sequal to that movie? Granted it was good and has a great ending, but I dont see how they could pull off the suspense thriller theme agian......Anyone else feel the same?

"Jigsaw is at work again. But instead of two people locked in a room with only one unthinkable way out, there are eight. Eight strangers ? unaware of their connection to each other -- forced to play out a game that challenges their wits and puts their lives in jeopardy"

Sounds...interesting

I guess I need to watch the first one. I mean, if they are making a horror sequel, then it must be good, right? 😉

heh sad but true. But I do reccomend the first one...it has a good twist at the end 🙂

You guys liked that movie? The acting was absolutely terrible. The twist was good and I didn't really see it coming until right before it happened, but still.

the acting only got bad at the end...overall id say it was fairly decent....considering the fact they filmed the entire film in 13 days

Watch it again. It makes me cringe. Mostly just Elwes and the other guy in there with him. The dialogue is just horrible.

first one was pretty overrated.

but decent for the budget/time it took to produce, I guess.

...still can't believe people compare it to se7en.

well Leigh Wannel (Adam) was the co-producer and he comes off as a whiny kid that probably was just like "Im producing this...so im gonna be in it"...having no prior acting experience of course 😛

they dont neccessarily COMPARE it to Se7en...more say that its similar. The build up and the totally FVCKED up serial killer are what makes them similar. Sure Se7en has much better acting and a better plot overall...they both have their pluses and minuses that make them what they are.

In the original Saw, the girl with the thing attached to her Jaw is the chick with big boobies from Becker. The only reason I ever watched that show at all.

Sweet, i can't wait!! That movie still gives me chills.. i love it!!!

Hypercube == cube 2? Terrible movie. They tried to pick up on the elements they thought had made Cube 1 great (blood, violence), and they missed the mark completely.

Original cube was fantastic though, no surprise it picked up a cult following.

Indeed. Everyone, rent Cube tonight. AWESOME movie. I enjoyed Cube: Zero too, but Hypercube was teh sux0r.

Yeh i had doubts about cube:zero after hypercube, but it turned out to be pretty damn good.

heh sounds like an interesting series. Is it set up like Saw where theres one guy behind everything? Like a sort of "Killer"?

oh and from what i read Saw 2 is more about like...the people are in the room and they pass around these dards and if someone gets the "death card" they have to kill someone else in order to stay alive themselves....sonds interesting

The actor who was the photographer (one of the two guys in the room) was AWFUL.

The story was pretty good, but the acting was pretty bad.

Imagine if this story had been filmed by someone really capable, like Hitchcock.
