Saw "The Internship" tonight 8/10!! Go see!

Pretty funny movie but most of the funny things had something to do with how internships actually are and what kind of people you come in contact with.

Since I am an intern myself, I could totally relate.

Don't really care for Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson's nose is weird as hell.

As far as storyline, it was fairly decent. Completely unrealistic when it comes to getting into a Google internship..but for the sake of the movie, they made it look easy. I felt like some of the things going on in the movie were are little too exaggerated for the sake of comedy. Many portions of the movie were downright cheezy. For instance...you have your typical boy meets girl romance story, etc.


One last thing I will say, is DON'T go see it if you don't understand nerd speak. There is a ton of references to nerdy things and it seemed like the older people in the audience didn't really understand the lingo or the jokes when it came to that.

I don't see what the big deal is. The movie is about an internship at Google.

So, not sure why RT would complain about that. Of course, Google is all over the movie. The movie was shot mostly at Google headquarters.


I honestly take RT with a grain of salt. Sometimes they are spot on with movies that suck and sometimes its just BS.

Rotation tomatoes? I don't think so. They gave NOW YOU SEE ME soso and it was excellent.
What do they know anyway. A bunch of stick up their butt reviewers od-ed on caffeine, detached from reality, with an axe to grind. Reminds me of another forum... hmmm.

Neither actor has been in any good movies since Wedding Crashers (2005) except for Owen Wilson with Midnight In Paris.

Most all of the movie was shot at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, access to Google’s headquarters, employees and culture lent authenticity to the film. The film was NOT shot at Google headquarters even though only a few exterior shots were the Google headquarters.

The movie cost $58 million to produce and is forecasted and on track to generate $45 million or less. That is called a loss in most any language.

Of the 78 reviews compiled on the Rottentomatoes.com website, 51 were negative. The entire move plays like a commercial for Google.

I'm glad you liked it, but obviously the majority of people did not. I found the movie only sporadically humorous. I give the move only 2 stars out of 10. I vote with the majority of people.
