And he didn't even fire a shot. Looked like he had a very large frame semi-auto...i didn't get a good look at it unfortunately.

Anyway, his left palm was bleeding profously and all over the floor, We didn't notice at first because he was acting totally normal and trying to get out of his bay, but then I realized later on the blood and his hand as he was leaving.

Thought maybe slide-bite but he didn't fire a shot after speaking with someone near me.

WTF would you do "setting up" that would slice your palm open???

More importantly, did I catch AIDS when I stepped on his blood?

Not unless you have an open wound on your foot, or whatever touches the residual infected blood on the shoes makes it into your mouth.

But to be honest, yes you have aids. My apologies and the best of luck to you.

I know that phrase doesn't mean what he thinks it means.

Well, I guess there is a possibility he used it here correctly.

Then again, that would mean someone died from a hand injury.

Did he slash his wrist down the road?

Or, could have severe hemophilia and a decent gash?

Nah... you're right: OP doesn't know what the phrase means.

I've had nicks and cuts all over my hands for doing stupid shit with weapons, but I don't think I've ever drawn a significant amount of blood.

Ohhhhhh, I see what the OP meant. He saw a guy bleed, while out on the shooting range. Hey OP, if you were in my field with me while I was removing fencing, you would have seen me bleed about 8 times today. 2 or 3 from ripping out barbed wire, once while putting in new fencing, and 5 frickin hawthorn trees got me. I got even though - I ran them over with the tractor. But then the big one got even for all her little baby trees - she broke the latch on the bucket on my tractor - sheared 4 bolts right off. However, I chose not to make a thread about my bleeding - this simple post was more than sufficient.

edit: FUCK! I just ran my fingers through my hydraulic fluid coated hair (an oops occurred today), and had one of those big long thorns in my hair... it got me again.
