pretty bad movie....


for people who did watch it, where did she get the pills from to make her son sleep? Also, did she empty the medication straight from the pescription bottle?

sucked.

the only redeeming quality is that Naomi Watts is a major HOTTIE.

the pills were probably caplets that she broke open and just sprinkled the stuff onto the food.

I think you're in the minority on that one.

Anyway, the only problem with the first one was it should have been called "The Tape" instead of "The Ring".

No,"The Tape" is another movie....it is an awful movie. The whole movie is just one big scene in a hotel room. 2 guys 1 girl...but nothing freaking happens....the movie was so boring...my g/f and i just fast forwarded the movie to see if there was any "action" going on.

I agree with you, that movie sucked ass! I should have just saved my 4.50

Just saw it today, wasn't that bad. I enjoyed most of it.

And about the pills, they were probably her's, since she was stressed out and all. I don't think she got it straight from the bottle, but probably got a pill capsule out and opened it.

Why are you so interested in that part? 😕

i saw it last night, i enjoyed it. it had some scary moments. i thought the story this time around was pretty good, im glad it wasn't the same story as the first.

and about it being called "The Ring" its called the ring for a reason. its because the "curse" when you watch the tape must be passed onto someone else w/in 7 days or else you die. if it's passed on, the next person must make someone else watch it as well or else they die, and so on. so eventually it can/will come back to you, just like a "ring". then of course, the symbolism from the bottom of the well, looking up, couldn't have been used either if it hadn't been called the ring.
