Saw one in Columbus, OH yesterday too...
Chrysler couldn't have released this car at a worse time.

I saw a black one at our local Dodge dealership parked up front on the little platform thing they have to show cars off. It was there for one day and then it was gone. My guess is somebody had it on order and while the dealer was waiting for him to pick it up they parked it up front to advertise.
It looked pretty cool. Just like all the pictures I'd seen before it was released.
EDIT: And Wiz makes a good point. Why the heck did they wait so long to release it? Same thing with the new Chevy Camaro. Seems like we're seeing a lot more of the car before it's even available to purchase. I'm wondering if this isn't some new marketing scheme to build up demand for the vehicle before it's released making the initial sales figures higher.

It looks a little thick and fat like most sedans these days, not as sleek and slender as the original.

We have 3 coming in at work..one came in last week, the other 2 are due next month..all 3 were sold over a year ago.....
Trust me, these cars will not be sitting in the dealer lots....
Yep, the Thunderbirds were selling for 5-10k OVER sticker when they first came out. We bought them from smaller dealers in the boonies that couldn't sell them but had to take one, for STICKER...and made money on them.Originally posted by: Arkaign

Not for the first year, but think of the recent Ford Thunderbird and so on. Retro gas guzzlers aren't the easiest sell in this market beyond the fringe fanatics that will pick it up when it's fresh and new.
It's priced dangerously close to the infinitely superior Vette.
