The Ford Edge has an interesting concept design, however as has already been mentioned, domestics manufacturers are horrible when it comes to the execution, they make the commercials so obnoxious, they put some crap on the car that makes it look like something out of a 5 year old kids fantasy and so on at the end they just ruin it and it becomes just another crappy domestic.

True, but I wasn't talking exclusively. But also no matter how much mistakes Toyota makes, a Camry will always be amongst the top selling sedans, meanwhile Ford especially at this day and time can't afford mistakes.

For every blunder Toyota makes, GM/Ford does 10x worse. I *REALLY* wanted to like the new Impala as a budget family hauler/commuter car. What did they do? Kill the dead pedal and put the parking brake where the dead pedal should be. Seriously...anybody who is used to a dead pedal and has a shoe size larger than a 7 will engage the parking brake.

And then there are just stupid little cost cutting measures in the armrest and doors that just kill the things they do right. They start out great, but just end up falling flat on their face.

Same thing with the Fusion. Go sit back to back (I did at a car show) in a Toyota Avalon and then in a Ford 500 and tell me which is the better car.

It sure as hell ain't the one with the blue oval on the front.

The fit and finish of a camry is still better than 90% of domestics - if i could get toyota interior quality with american exterior styling.... mmmm that'd be the perfect car
