Nice hobby to have. I wonder what kind of profits he makes off that.

A lot. He has a Dodge SRT10 (the one with the Viper engine) that you can't quite see in the pics. His next project car is a 70 (?) hemicuda.

Oh my, I had the 70 Cuda with the 383 which I pulled and put in a 440. A Hemi, that thing will go for a good buck.

A friend of mine owns five shelby's, including 2 convertibles.

When he was younger he traveled across the US, Canada and Mexico in a broken down piece of shiat van and visited all the Ford dealerships he could find. He bought all the obsolete mustang and shelby parts he could find for pennies on the dollar.

Now he is one rich SOB. About ten yrs ago James Gardner (Maverick) offered him 2 million for his cars and parts. He politely turned him down and said he wouldnt sell them for 10 million.

He has clients worldwide seeking his stuff. Ive seen him sell one bolt for a hundred bucks, dead batteries go for a thousand. Its almost unreal what people will pay for original shelby parts.

That's pretty cool. Did he seem uppity at all or down to earth? To have such a hobby probably treats the wallet well.
