Saw a 15 min snippet on CNN on prison sentences

CNN did a quick 15 min report on the Scott Peterson trial and guy was saying that inmates dislike felons who are convicted of crimes against women and children...isn't that a reason why some of them are in there in the first place?

One of my teacher was a former prison guard, he said that guys can rise up in rank if they beat up a pedophile or rapist in prison.

Because even scumbag convicts have wives/mothers/sisters and kids, so a rapist or pedophile is in deep sh!t when they go to the joint.

Look at the Paul Bernardo story. His and his girlfriends raped/sodomized and murdered 2 girls including the girlfriend's sister. Are you telling me you would not kill them if you were in prison? You're serving life, so why not do society a favor by removing people like pedophiles/rapists who will get out eventually and do the same thing to other children/women
