So what £££ did you save this month or spent?

Me I put away £410 out of my £480 I earn part time a month. I spent £70 of it so I ended up with £340 so I'm pleased with that myself 😀

Checked and last month I managed around about £300 so thats good.

Just don't spend as much when out now and less on cloths. I don't drink much so thats cheaper on the wallet.

£1 ~ $1.60 or $1.55 so I saved a good $450 myself this month 😀

Not so expensive. Just WHERE you want to go. Lots of cafe shops about, starbucks, pret a manger, bengy's etc.

You can get a nice meal in Bella Pasta for about £16 or £20 for two with a starter. ~ $30.

How much are you guys use to spending for lunch or dinner in the states?

Lots of places to get sandwich's though.

Cool so whos the 4 that are coming over? Can be 1st Trans-Atlantic meet lol.

RossMan well as long as you make money on the stuff you buy its good. If not 🙁

You ever eat at Wagamama? My brother took me there last time I visited. Cheap little noodle house with lots of good stuff. I saw they had a couple around town, and were opening one in Amsterdam as well. Nice little place I'd recommend.

Everything in London is expensive. Prices on most things are exactly what you'd expect to pay here, only the dollar is so crappy against the pound right now. So, it ends up being roughly 50-60% more for everything over there.

Made ~$3400

mad money = ~$200

after aggressively paying of debts from school, CC, and car payment, also monthly living expenses, I out $400 into savings.

Ouch, but at least you movved so have a cause at least....

Not been to Wagamama actually. If I'm in China town area I go to a chinese restaurant and eat more 'traditional' food. I find that food in most chinese places or takeaways are very westernised for the western taste. Not like how it would be in China at all. Not so pricey. I go in with a group of 10 or so and it works out to be about £80 for the lot and we have about 5+ courses so only £8 each. Works out cheaper to just order a bunch of dish's and share, instead one dish each.

Yeah it is. I have no bills, but when I do that will be when I'll see and experience that.

But still I'd think even when I get bills I can still save 70% of what I have left though. I really don't spend as much as I use to and am able to save at the moment.
