saving youtube.com videos?

not directly, but i've seen programs that will leech them into a savable file... google video too. haven't tried any, though.
 
You don't need programs or extensions, there is an easily Googlable website where you can throw it a YouTube link and it will bring up a download window for the video.

can't you already download google videos? just the minor caveat of having to install the google video player (the file themselves I believe are just dummy wrappers, I played them in media player classic w/o a problem)
