Im trying to compile a winxp install cd with all the updates on them, but where can i download them from?
Theres nothing on windows update page from what i've seen, if i search for the kbXXXXXX numbers it still wont allow me to download them individually.

Maybe you're overlooking them. For example, the most recent WMF patch... search Microsoft.com for 912919, and it brings you to this page. Click the + next to Affected Software and Download Locations. Bingo, there's the chart with download links (click "Critical" next to your OS version).

In practical terms, what you might do to find all the patches you want, is run Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.0 on a fully-patched WinXP box (heck, or even an un-fully-patched one 😀). When it finishes, click on the Result details link next to Windows Security Updates. pic of what it looks like Then write down the numbers of the patches that it finds are already installed. The links to most of them are right there, too. Some could possibly be duplicates, such as the Cumulative Security Patches for Internet Explorer.
