I would like to save the sound from some .rm files as .wav files so I can write them to an audio cd. What program would allow me to simultaniously play a .rm file, and record the sound coming out the sound card as a .wav file?

If you can get the .rm playing at all, then you should be able to use any old recording program to capture the sound as it is being played. Since everything is eventually going through the same channel, even Windows Sound Recorder would work. Just open both programs, start the .rm playing, and hit the record button.

I've tried that, and no sound is recorded by Windows Sound Recorder. I have an MX300 sound card.

Cool, found a program called Total Recorder that did the trick. Now I can listen to south park episodes on car trips :)
