I'm running Win 2K and recently updated from service pack 2 to service pack 3. I also updated Internet Explorer to Version 6.0.2800.1106 I use ACDsee classic for picture viewing. Anyways, here's the problem... when I save a picture from a web site, the save file window always saves as a bitmap file, even if it's supposed to be a jpeg or other picture format. It's annoying because, the default filename is always "untitiled" I then I have to rename it. I would rather be able to save it as its original name and format, i.e. waterfall.jpg This only started happening after the latest updates i.e. service packs, updated browser. Any idea why this is happening? Your help is appreciated.
