saving pictures??

hi,
when i right click to save an image from the internet, for some reason it only allow me to save it as a bitmap file. i was wondering how do i save it as a jpeg? this problem just started happening recently. is there a setting/option for this? thanks for the help!

when you right click to save an image it will only let you save it in what ever format the original is

meaning if its a .bmp that your viewing on the interenet then it will save as a .bmp
if its a .jpeg then it will save as a .jpeg

if you want to convert it you can use any number of photo viewing software, the easiest is probably just using paint (since its part of windows)
but you do the converting after you download it

when trying to save a picture do they all come up as untitled.bmp? if so, then just clear your temp files and that should solve the problem.
in IE...TOOLS -> INTERNET OPTIONS -> under GENERAL TAB half way down choose DELETE FILES -> OK

thanks so much!! =) works like a charm! it was getting annoying with all the 'untitled.bmp'
