Hi all,
I am needing to do a presentation to a group and need to demo a website. I don't want to have to bother with an internet connection so I want to be able to surf the site without being connected.
I have "saved" the complete pages to my hd and although the site has various buttons to go to different parts of the site, they don't link to each other. How can I get the links to work offline?
Thanks
Gary

IE 5.5 works pretty good, you can download so many links deep into the page, then view it while offline...i use it...

yeah, because what you're clicking on is an HTTP link. The pages are on your HDD. You would have to change the links to be HDD links.

Im not sure, but in IE5.5 i think you have to be in Offline mode to view them on the HD, or maybe not, but check to see if your offline. heh

You can try Teleport Pro. But the shareware version has a d/l limit of 300 files per site. You can also use wget (a UNIX utility ported to Win32) to do a recursive web suck.
