Save threads?

If I use the 'view text in raw format' button, it opens a new window without the ability to save, that I can find. Is there a way to save that directly, ie. other than copying and pasting the text?

Using IE, it loads a notepad with the source.
Notepad has the ability to save the test.

I can also open the source in Firfox and save it.

What browser are you using?

Using IE.
No, not the view source browser option. I'm talking about the Fusetalk printer icon for the thread (above the printer icon for the OP). It puts it in a print view in a separate IE window, with no menu.

I was able to do the following steps using IE.

Once you use the Fusetalk printer icon, click inside the new window that pops up.
You can then do a CTL+A to select all and then a CTL+C to copy.
Then paste into a notepad/wordpad, etc and save as.

Yeah I gotta use IE at work.

So I guess it can't be done?

Sorry, man. I really feel sorry for you. You know there is something called portable firefox which you can download entirely onto a usb drive and run it on a ocmputer without installing it on the computer.

I was hoping to use IE's file->save as->web archive.

Yeah once we get off NT, I'll be able to do that. 🙂 Slowly migrating different groups to XP.

At the top of the raw text, you can click to print...
Could you print to file?
(just a thought)
