~~~~~HOT DEAL: Use mass transportation~~~~~
Let the Brazilians develop their resources as they see fit... Those trying to save the Rain Forests never mention other (Brazilian) problems such as the homeless in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo...
Brazil belongs to Brazilians and they can do with their jungle as they wish. Let's make it their business what California does...turn out the lights and eat bananas. Extreme rightwing liberals and their dictatorial control demands. :-(((((((((((((
Not a scam guys. I'm the designer of the site Redjellyfish.com and my client has already set up the land donation with the help of ecologyfund.com and the World Land Trust. The site has been up and running since last September and we added the land donation for registration earlier this month. We'll also be adding a Click to Donate feature (similar to EcologyFund's) in the next week or so.
As for those of you who think the rain forest isn't important I'd like to see what you think in 30 years if we continue to destroy it. Maybe then you'll realize how important it was to life on this planet, but by then it will be too late.
THANK YOU!
It's rare to see such sensibility these days. Brazil belongs to BRAZIL.
For us to try to dictate policy on THEIR rainforest while we simultaneously demand tribute (in the form of loan repayment), AND while our corporations continue to rape and pillage their economy...that's insane.
I am an American citizen, but also have citizenship in Brazil through marriage. Speaking on behalf of Brazil, we don't need American help, we don't want American help, and you have plenty of your own problems to concern yourselves with.
